Run, hide or get your finest zombie outfit on! Crawl of the Dead returns to Brighton for the second year! Last time we had so much fun that we simply had to do it again - only with more zombies!
All that’s required is an ability to fake a limp, look like you've just crawled out of a grave and the wanton desire to be covered in blood. That shouldn't be too hard for most of you then...
We're going to meet on Tuesday 31st October at 8pm, in the graveyard on Dyke Road (click for map) . It's just up from Churchill Sq. From around quarter past 8, the horde of zombies will start making there way on the goriest pub Crawl ever. We're going to head down the hill to somewhere like Earth, Moon and Stars, later paying a visit to The Dorset, The Wagamama Window, and The Eagle. And then, maybe Hanover. Mwaha-ha-ha-ha!
You'll need to have plenty of red on you if you want to be a proper zombie.
You're going to need lots of blood.
You're going to want lots of blood.
So, you'll be needing a good recipe like this one here. And you might also want some awesomer wounds, so why not make one using this lovely guide. We recommend 'Vampire Blood' from Revamp in Sydney Street - Its really quite thick and last hours.
Crawl of the Dead is kind of a global thing now aswell. So check out this awesome Australian Crawl of the Dead Flikr album, it's really quite inspiriational. Infact, this frankly exceptional zombie sets a real benchmark for Crawl of the Dead 2006.
In order to prepare you for your role as a zombie, take some advice from the classic brit comedy, Shaun of the Dead...
Crawl of the Dead 2005 was great. We ended up with around 25 Zombies, Crawling from The Eagle, past the 'Wagamama Window' to The Dorset on to Riki Tiks, and then bundled in to taxis before ending up at the legendary Hove Town Hall Rock night. It was awesome.
Crawl of the Dead Brighton was an idea we saw and copied in 2005 from www.anarchichand.com, and who were first mentioned in this article. Those guys ROCK!
For their creation, we thank them truly.
